The Head of Mall Operations & Facilities is to oversee the smooth functioning of the facilities and provide a safe and comfortable environment for customers.
Responsibility includes:
- Operation Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the mall, ensuring all engineering and facilities management functions run smoothly.
- Engineering Oversight: Manage all engineering projects, including maintenance, upgrades, and renovations of mall facilities.
- Compliance and Safety: Ensure all engineering practices comply with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as industry standards.
- Budget Oversight: Manage the engineering budget, tracking expenditures and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
- Energy Management: Monitor energy consumption and develop strategies for sustainability improvements. And implementing energy-efficient practices and technologies to reduce operational costs and environmental impact.
- Facilities/ Asset Management: Monitor and manage the cleanliness and hygiene of the mall, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. And coordinate with external vendors and service providers for specialised services such as pest control, landscaping.
- Mall Operation and Daily Management: Supervise daily operations of the mall to ensure smooth functioning, including security, customer services, parking management, and mall housekeeping.
- Mall operation budget management: Oversee the operational budget, ensuring the expenses are within approved limits and managing cost-effective solutions for services and supplies.
- Tenant Relations and Leasing Support: Act as the point of contact for tenant queries regarding facilities-related matters and escalate issues when necessary.
- Project Management: Lead and manage multiple mall-related projects from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with overall operational goals
- Tenancy mix: To provide tenants with information about the facility and utilities provided in the leased area. Cut the leased line in case of special customisation for the tenant's purpose, and suggest the leasing team for the suitable area for each customer.
